Yeah, today was the single most depressing day in six months (most of you know what the last one was) I'm tired as all hell, which doesnt help, and then I find out that theres no way I can get my US history grade up to an 80 which I need to do to furfill the deal I made with my mom so I could go to the Moi Dix Mois concert this summer. Then, I come home and guess what, the tour was CANCELED. I have been looking forward to this for months, and worked my ass off to get my grades up, for nothing. meh, now I get to tell Lil' Jess we're not going to the concert, I know she was looking forward to it too..Goddamn I hate America. The tour was cancelled because of "Differences in politics with the tour organizers" what do you suppose this means by "politics" when applied to a gothic crossdressing Japanese band in the US? I fucking hate it here....and now I get to go to a four fucking hour long test tomorrow...goddamn SAT's..

I'm not really in the mood for a long entry, but I havent made one at all for a wicked long time so I figured I should. anywho, I recently found out that Moi Dix Mois is coming to the US! WHOOOO! I practically had an orgasm when I found out. (or maybe that had to do with who it was who told me....XD jk >.>;) and my mom promised me she would take me and a friend to the new york concert if I got all A's and B's on my report card. I wonder how much she'll regret it when we actually get to the concert and she sees what they look like XD. Lil' Jess is the only one who expressed any real interest in going with me, but I kinda figured on taking her anyway. I just took my license test 2 hours ago, and I failed >.> goddamn DMV jackass. It wasn't even a big mistake. After I made a turn, I let the wheel straighten itself instead of doing it hand-over-hand. I mean hell, I didn't even take my hand off the wheel, I just let go of it. >.> SOB. well, now my next test will be some time in late July or september. >_

hey, just thought I'd let you guys know I'm still alive. I just got back from a week in Florida. It wasn't too bad, the sun was intense, which bugged me. But I still managed to come back border-line albino =D I bought a crossbow and brass knuckles. and I got to swim with dolphins which was kewl. Key West is nice, for those of you who are considering going. I don't know how, but they managed to get EVERYTHING you could need on the mainland onto that island. They have a frickin K-MART. and Borders. and Taco Bell. My little brother and my aunt made it a pain in the ass at times, but whatever. I can't begin to count the times I almost got into a religious argument with my aunt. Damn Catholic bible thumper. (no offense to any catholics reading this, I just have a strong dislike for overly religious people in general, and an even stronger dislike for the Vatican). Oh, and guess what everybody. Due to lack of reliable and available books on the subject I've decided to write a non-fiction book, on the subject of interracial relationships and marriages. (I think some of you may find this predictable, and you guys can shut up >.>;)

oh my god, you guys won't believe this! I got a letter from wesleyan University today, and I was accepted into the program! Not only that, but I got a scholarship that entirely covers the tuition, and $300 of the room and board!

wheeeeee, I might be getting into a creative writing program at Wesleyan University this summer. I went in for an interview yesterday, and there weren't as many people as I thought there would be. The form I got said I had to send in two or three pieces of my writing in, so I sent in "My Devil" and the samurai short story I wrote for english class earlier this year. The form also said I had to be prepared to read from and discuss the writing, but apparently the guy who was doing those interviews had just gotten the files with all the different applicants writing, so he hadn't had a chance to read them yet. It's kinda worrying because they only accept 15-20 people into the program, and there are four different places where they hold interviews, bridgeport, Middletown, New Haven, and Hartford. I went to the one in Middletown, and there were like...10 or 12 people there for the creative writing program. I'm kinda excited about going, but I kinda don't want to go. It's a residency program, which means I'd live there, and it's 5 weeks long, and there are no computers or tvs or anything like that, although I am allowed to bring my cellphone,which is nice. Well, I'll know come april 20 or so. Either way, it should be interesting.

I haven't posted in a while, and I thought this up last night, so I figured I'd post it. It was kinda weird, last night around midnight, I was just about to go to bed, everything was shut off, so it was completely dark, except for the street lamp things outside, and the light reflected off the frost on the hill, and it looked like there was glittering snow outside. I'm feeling incredibly lightheaded right now, so this is gonna be short. I have vacation next week, and I'm pretty excited about it, although right now you wouldn't be able to tell. ugh, I have no idea why I'm so lightheaded right now, but it's driving me insane. I have two projects I need to work on over vacation, one is a research project on the Triads, and the other one is a project on the legacy of slavery. If anyone feels like helping me with either I'd appreciate it. I'm working on a few new poems, one is a joke I got the idea of from listening to the song "Brown Sugar" it doesn't have a title to it, and there's no way in hell I'm posting it on here XD yes it's that bad. another one is about my frustration about not being able to write anything a few days back. Ironic ne? That one is called "The Soul's Chains" Then there's two poems I started writing about an hour ago, both about fairly similar topics, Humankind's inclination toward self-destruction. One is titled "Mind and Heart, Saints and Sinners" and the other one is called "Life's Meaning" none of them are done yet, but the Untitled one is fairly close. I'm thinking of having Brandy compose some music for it, and making it a song XD. The Soul's Chains is getting there too. Meh, I'm kinda tired, so I think I'll end with that.
